Biscotto Stones
Effeuno ovens often come equipped with Biscotto di Sorrento stones – handcrafted in Naples from a special alluvial clay native to the region. This clay, combined with centuries-old craftsmanship, offers unique heat retention and moisture absorption properties.
The result is:
- Even heat distribution
- Reduced risk of burning pizza bases
- Ideal conditions for achieving Neapolitan-style leoparding and soft yet crispy crusts
All models use a composite stone, combining refractory material with Biscotto features for greater durability and improved heat performance.
It is also possible to just purchase a Biscotto pizza stone
Do all Effeuno ovens come with the Biscotto combination stone?
Almost all the ovens comes with the Effeuno Stone.
Only the following models come with a full refractory stone, which is not suitable for Neapolitan pizza: F1, F11, P150H, and P150HA.

Frequently Asked Questions – Effeuno Pizza Ovens
1. What is the difference between the P134H and P134HA?
The P134HA has a taller baking chamber (18 cm vs. 9 cm), making it suitable for bread, calzones, and thicker dishes. The P134H is more compact and optimized for traditional pizzas.
2. What does the "E” in P134H 509E or P134HA 509E models mean?
Models with an "E” are part of the Evolution Line. They feature digital PID controls, a touchscreen interface, and programmable multi-phase baking for advanced precision.
3. Can Effeuno ovens be used outdoors?
Yes – but only in dry weather. As electric ovens, they must be kept away from rain and moisture.
4. How long does it take to heat up the oven?
Typically around 35–40 minutes, depending on the model. Evolution models heat faster due to their higher power output.
6. Can I control the top and bottom heat separately?
Yes. All Effeuno ovens allow separate control of the upper and lower heating elements, allowing you to balance heat based on your recipe and baking surface.
7. How is the N3 model different from the others?
The N3 is compact, lightweight, and portable. It comes with a hybrid baking stone (part Biscotto, part refractory) — the same Biscotto stone used in the other ovens. This applies to all N models; the only difference between them is their size. The N models do not have both top and bottom heating.
8. What size pizza can I make?
Most Effeuno models can bake pizzas up to Ø34 cm. The P150H supports larger pizzas up to approximately 50 cm.
9. Are the ovens easy to clean?
The oven is easy to clean. We recommend avoiding direct contact with water. If necessary, use a damp cloth. Alternatively, a brush can be purchased specifically for cleaning. If there are any stubborn residues that cannot be removed, you can run the oven at full temperature with only the stone inside to burn them off.
10. Which model is best for beginners?
The P134HA PRO is a popular and recommended choice for beginners because its larger size makes it easy to navigate a pizza inside, providing plenty of space to work with
11. Can the ovens be built in?
We do not recommend built-in installation, but it is possible as long as the correct clearances are maintained to ensure proper air circulation. If these are not followed, the fan may draw in hot air, which could risk damaging the internal components.

12. How does the Boost function work?
The boost function reaches maximum heat within 60 seconds by holding both + and - buttons at the same time. This must be done for each resistance individually.
The mode deactivates automatically after 60 seconds or when the maximum temperature is reached. You can also turn it off by pressing + or - again.
Warning: Boost activates only if the current temperature is at least 50°C below the set temperature. It helps compensate for heat loss, for example when baking Neapolitan pizza that needs high heat.
Pizza oven accessories
When buying a pizza oven, having the right accessories can make all the difference in achieving the perfect bake. Below is a description of some essential and helpful accessories that enhance your pizza oven experience.

| Professional Worktop Pizza Oven | A flat tray used inside the oven for baking various dishes, including pizza, providing a stable and clean baking surface. Features a sturdy worktop for efficient large-volume pizza. Recommended primarily for tall models. Maximum Temperature: Up to 310°C. Durable design that resists warping under high temperatures. |
| Pizza Peel | A flat, paddle-like tool used to safely insert and remove pizzas from the oven. The perforations reduce drag and help to release excess flour, improving the bottom texture of the pizza. |
| Pizza Board | This pizza board is made of stainless steel and can be placed on any surface or countertop to provide a stable base for baking bread or pizza. It includes rubber feet for added stability during use. The robust design features a double fold for enhanced strength and durability.
