The Forma 1200 Tunnel is a built-in bioethanol fireplace designed with a see-through, double-sided tunnel layout, allowing the flames to be enjoyed from two opposing sides. Paired with the FLA4 990 Logs FLOGS burner, it delivers a striking and luxurious flame display, where realistic decorative logs sit directly within the fire, creating depth, warmth and the look of a traditional fireplace – completely without smoke or a chimney.

The recommended minimum room size is 70 m³, making it suitable for most living spaces and open-plan interiors.

Automatic Bioethanol Burner with FLOGS Technology

This version of the Forma 1200 Tunnel is supplied with the FLA4 990 Logs FLOGS, Planika Fires’ advanced automatic bioethanol burner with integrated decorative logs.

The burner uses Planika’s patented BEV® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) technology, where bioethanol is evaporated before combustion. This ensures a clean, stable and odourless flame, while keeping the logs free from soot and maintaining their realistic appearance over time. The flame height can be adjusted across 6 levels, allowing you to fine-tune both ambience and heat output.

The burner can be operated via remote control, a touch panel on the unit or a mobile app. Smart Home integration is available with the optional SHS module. Multiple integrated safety sensors – including tilt, temperature, overfill and CO₂ sensors – continuously monitor operation, ensuring safe and reliable use.

The Forma 1200 Tunnel is constructed from galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish and is supplied with tempered safety glass on both sides. This creates a clean, timeless aesthetic that works seamlessly in modern interiors and architectural fireplace installations.

The glass panels also help protect the flames from draughts and minor air movement, resulting in a calmer and more consistent flame pattern.

Installation
