The Forma 1200 Room Divider is a built-in bioethanol fireplace designed with flames visible from three sides, making it an ideal solution for dividing open-plan living spaces while maintaining light, warmth and visual flow. Combined with the FLA4 990 Logs FLOGS burner, it creates a striking fireplace feature where realistic decorative logs sit directly within the flames, delivering the look and atmosphere of a traditional fire – completely without smoke, soot or a chimney.

The recommended minimum room size is 70 m³, making it suitable for most modern living areas and open-plan layouts.

Automatic Bioethanol Burner with FLOGS Technology

This version of the Forma 1200 Room Divider is supplied with the FLA4 990 Logs FLOGS, Planika Fires’ advanced automatic bioethanol burner with integrated decorative logs.

The burner uses Planika’s patented BEV® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) technology, where bioethanol is evaporated before combustion. This ensures a clean, stable and odourless flame, while keeping the logs free from soot and preserving their realistic appearance over time. The flame height can be adjusted across 6 levels, allowing you to fine-tune both ambience and heat output.

The burner can be operated via remote control, a touch control panel on the unit or a mobile app. Smart Home integration is available with the optional SHS module. For added peace of mind, the system is equipped with multiple safety sensors, including tilt, temperature, overfill and CO₂ sensors, ensuring safe and reliable day-to-day operation.

Materials and Design

The Forma 1200 Room Divider is constructed from galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish and supplied with tempered safety glass on all open sides. This creates a clean, timeless look that fits seamlessly into contemporary homes and architectural interior designs.

The glass panels help protect the flames from draughts and minor air movement, resulting in a calmer and more consistent flame pattern.
