Cocoon Fires – Matte White Pedestal Bioethanol Fireplace

The Cocoon Pedestal in matte white is a stylish and freestanding bioethanol fireplace designed by renowned industrial designer Federico Otero. Its elegant powder-coated finish brings a refined and modern touch to any space. Originally created in 2011, this fireplace combines functionality with timeless design, offering warmth and ambiance without compromising on aesthetics.

Requiring no chimney, ventilation, or electricity, the Pedestal is easy to move and place wherever desired. It’s ideal for use in homes, vacation cabins, or modern commercial interiors focused on design and atmosphere.

Burner and heat output

The fireplace includes Cocoon Fires’ 1.5-liter manual burner, providing up to 5 hours of burn time per refill. It offers a maximum heat output of approximately 3 kW and consumes around 0.30 liters of bioethanol per hour. The flame can be manually adjusted using the included flame tool.

Installation

No fixed installation is required. The Cocoon Pedestal is delivered in several parts and must be assembled before use. Assembly takes approximately 10–15 minutes and does not require special tools. Once assembled, the fireplace is ready to use – quick, simple, and elegant.
