The Surtur 23" bioethanol fireplace insert is a practical solution for upgrading freestanding stoves or older open fireplaces to a modern bioethanol setup. The frame is made from powder-coated steel and does not feature built-in heat insulation. When installing the insert into a wall or piece of furniture, it is important to ensure that surrounding materials are heat-resistant. If required, suitable insulation should be added to protect the structure and ensure a safe installation.
