Helios Suspended Bioethanol Fireplace from Hein & Haugaard

Helios is part of the Sol series from the North Jutland manufacturer, Hein and Haugaard. This ceiling-mounted bio fireplace is handmade, and therefore no two models are 100% alike. Helios is made of polished brass, both inside and out.

In this bio fireplace, it is possible to decorate with ceramic decoration, which can advantageously be placed around the burner to give a more authentic look. Please note that it is not recommended to place the decoration directly in the flame, as it can emit an unpleasant smell and dirty combustion which may cause headaches.

Bioethanol Burner

This bio fireplace is equipped with a 1 liter manual bioethanol burner. The burner is designed for use with bioethanol with an alcohol percentage between 95-97.5%, to achieve the best flame.

The firebox is ignited with a lighter and extinguished by smothering the flame with the included extinguishing tool. The flame size is not adjustable.

Installation

The ceiling rod for this bio fireplace is included and is easy to mount with screws and possibly rawlplugs. A base plate is included, which is placed at the bottom of the fireplace, to conceal the burner. This provides a neat and even finish.

After installation, the fireplace is ready to use, and bioethanol can be refilled in the burner and then ignited with a lighter. It is recommended that the fireplace is installed with a gap of at least 60-85 cm between the floor and the bottom of the fireplace.
