Transform your traditional fireplace into a bio fireplace

Are you tired of the effort involved in using your current stove or fireplace because it takes too long to light? If you are considering converting your traditional fireplace into a bioethanol fireplace, then this package is the ideal solution.

This conversion kit can quickly and easily transform your old wood-burning stove or traditional fireplace into an eco-friendly bio fireplace. The burner is placed in your existing fireplace, decorated with the included logs around and in front of it, and finally the Glow Flame fibres are arranged for a warm, glowing effect.

Once everything is set up, bioethanol is added following the instructions and the bio fireplace is ignited with the extra-long safety lighter. In just a few minutes, you can convert your existing fireplace into a bio fireplace and enjoy the flames immediately – without having to chop any wood.

The package includes:

• 1.5 Litre Bioethanol Burner: The burner is the core component of the bioethanol fireplace. It can be placed wherever you wish inside your existing fireplace or wood stove. The burner measures H: 7.4 × W: 26 × D: 15.5 cm. The bioethanol fuel is poured into the flame opening and ignited with a long lighter. Both flame height and heat output can be adjusted depending on whether you want a cosy atmosphere or efficient heat emission.
• Extinguishing tool: This tool acts as a hook to slide a metal plate over the flame opening. If the plate partially covers the opening, the flame height and heat output will decrease. When the plate fully covers the opening, the flame is extinguished due to lack of oxygen.
• 8 pcs decorative logs: These decorative logs are placed around the burner to create an authentic fireplace look. For double-sided stoves or fireplaces, an additional decoration pack may be required. The logs must not be placed directly above the flames and are typically used to conceal the burner for a natural appearance.
• Glow Flame for a glowing ember effect: Glow Flame consists of fibres that create a warm, glowing ember effect. They are simply essential for achieving an authentic fireplace look. The fibres are spread individually around the flame opening.
• Long safety lighter for safe ignition: This long lighter is ideal for safely igniting the fireplace. Insert it into the fireplace and ignite the flame opening. The flame in the bio fireplace will appear instantly.
• 12 litres of high-quality bioethanol: Bioethanol is included so you can start using your bio fireplace straight away. The entire setup can be completed in two minutes, and filling the burner takes around one minute. In total, it takes approximately three minutes to transform your traditional fireplace into a bio fireplace. The included bioethanol provides around 30–40 hours of burning time at a moderate flame level.
• Filling funnel and jug set: This set makes filling the burner with bioethanol much easier. The funnel is placed directly in the burner inside the fireplace, and the jug is used to safely pour the fuel without spillage or overfilling. Alternatively, the burner can be removed and filled on a table, sink, or any suitable surface.

Please note: The lighter is delivered without gas. To use the lighter, you will need to fill it with lighter gas.

NOTE: If you install this conversion kit, please ensure that:

• The fireplace receives sufficient oxygen through the fireplace vent or chimney.
• If heat output is desired, it may be beneficial to close the chimney or flue. However, this requires an open fireplace where doors or glass panels are removed or remain open.

The bio burner is also available in other lengths on our Burner page. It is also possible to install a glass panel in front of the fireplace. As a general guideline, the glass should be one-third of the height of the fireplace opening.
