Founded in Aalborg, Denmark, we've grown into a multinational team operating across 15 countries, with showrooms in Denmark and Greenwich, London. We're passionate about helping every customer find the perfect fireplace for their home.
How We Started
Founded in Aalborg, Denmark, in 2012 by brothers Casper W. Lanng and Christoffer L. Mortensen, Bioethanol-Fireplace Ltd. grew from a small family business into an international fireplace specialist. The UK quickly became one of our most important markets and is today our largest and one of the markets where we are most active. As demand grew, we wanted to be closer to our UK customers, so in 2021 we opened our own showroom and warehouse in London. This allows customers to see and compare fireplaces in person, get advice directly from our fireplace specialists and benefit from faster delivery, with a wide range of products held in stock here in the UK.
We grew up in a merchant family, and that background still shapes how we do business. We have always believed that if a product is in stock, it should be picked, packed and on its way as quickly as possible. Having our own UK warehouse means we can put that philosophy into practice every day, while our London team provides local advice and service backed by the experience of an international group operating across 20 markets.
