The Holbury 1200 in Grey Marble is a striking built-in electric fireplace suite that combines a marble-effect surround with British Fires’ award-winning flame technology. Constructed from MDF with a painted marble finish, it achieves a premium look while remaining lightweight and easy to install. Designed as a front-open, one-sided fireplace, the Holbury has no front glass, giving an unobstructed view of the flames and fuel bed for a realistic effect.
Front-Open Design
Unlike glass-fronted fires, the Holbury 1200 has a fully open front that brings the flames and Deluxe Real Logs closer to view. This design creates a natural ambience, blending the feel of a traditional hearth with modern electric performance.
Choose Deluxe or Black Edition
The Holbury is offered in two versions:
- Deluxe – Includes Deluxe Real Logs, hand-finished from British oak, and a mirrored rear glass panel to enhance flame depth.
- Black Edition – Combines Deluxe Real Logs with a dark rear glass panel, reducing reflections and sharpening the flame visuals.

The Deluxe Real Logs are sustainably sourced from British oak and carefully crafted to showcase natural bark, knots, and grain. Paired with British Fires’ flame visuals, they provide one of the most authentic electric fire experiences available.

Installation Information
The Holbury suite is designed for straightforward installation into a prepared wall opening. A secure stud wall or chimney breast is required, as the fixing brackets are intended to secure the fire rather than support its full weight. The cut-out dimensions must match the appliance size – please check the installation manual for precise details.
Once the opening is prepared, the fire is slotted into place and secured with eight fixing points. Supplied pre-wired with a 1.8 m cable and 13 A plug, the fire can be connected to a nearby socket or hardwired by a qualified electrician. For safe operation, maintain a clearance of around 900 mm in front of the fire.
