Dimplex Opti-V Single Electric Built-in Fire
The Dimplex Opti-V Single is a one-sided electric built-in fire designed for spaces where you want the appearance of a real fire without heat. It uses Dimplex Opti-Virtual® flame technology, combining an LED display with a decorative log set and sound to create the illusion of burning logs.
The flames are visible from the front, with a visible area measuring approximately 69 x 24 cm. The Opti-V Single has no heating function, making it a purely decorative electric fire that can be used independently of the room's heating system.
Flame effect with sound
The Opti-Virtual® system electronically recreates flames and glowing embers on an LED display. A built-in sound module complements the flame effect with fire and crackling sounds, while the decorative log set adds depth to the flame display.
The fire can be operated directly on the unit or with the included remote control. As the model does not produce heat, power is only required for the flame effect, which has a power consumption of 35 W.
Installation
The Opti-V Single is supplied fully assembled and is designed for permanent installation in a cabinet, fireplace surround or wall opening. The unit must be securely fixed in place according to the recommended installation dimensions, with access to a correctly earthed electrical connection.
The fire connects to a 230 V/50 Hz power supply and is supplied with a 1.5 metre power cable. No chimney, flue or fuel supply is required because the flame effect is entirely electric.
Adequate ventilation must be provided around the unit when it is built in. Dimplex specifies a ventilation area of 100 cm² for the Opti-V Single, and the ventilation openings must not be obstructed. Dimplex recommends consulting a qualified electrician for the electrical installation and wiring requirements. Always follow the installation manual and specified fixing dimensions before switching the fire on.
