Cassette 500 Projects Opti-myst hybrid fireplace burner

Here you get a large Dimplex Opti-myst Cassette of 50 cm in width. The Cassette is specially designed to be used in Do-It-Yourself projects, where you wish to build your own Opti-myst water vapour fireplace.

Opti-myst is a technology developed by Dimplex and is a way of creating 3-dimensional flame effects using water vapours and LED-lights. This creates a fantastic flame-effect and the fireplaces are often called Opti-myst, Hybrid, or Water vapour fireplaces.

As standard, the Dimplex Cassette 500 features a black metal top plate. But is it possible to purchase a set of decoration logs, which can be placed on top of the Cassette and add to the effect of a real fire.

Hybrid fireplaces like the Dimplex Cassette 500 can be installed and used in a lot of different places and settings since it does not require a connection to a flue system. It only requires a connection to an electrical outlet. Dimplex Cassette 500 does not have any heat effect and is therefore perfect for newer houses, where you don't need the additional heat from the fire, but only wish to enjoy the cosy atmosphere that a fireplace provides.

Additionally, the Cassette 500 has a built-in sound module that can create sparkling fireplace sound effects.

Requires Fixed Water Connection

Cassette 500 Project requires a connection to a fixed water supply.

Being connected to a fixed water supply means that the cassette is automatically refilled with water when necessary. You will never have to manually refill the cassette with water - it happens completely automatically!

The model with automatic water connection can also be used with an external water container and a special water pump. Please contact our customer service for more information on this.

Decoration Logset

NOTE: The decoration logset shown in some of the pictures and video is not included, but is an additional purchase.

There are two different decoration logsets available for the Cassette 500. They both add a more realistic touch to the Opti-myst fireplace. The difference between the two is the size.

• Logset 500 - is a logset with built-in lighting effects and has a width of 509 mm and fits the size of the Cassette 500.
• Logset 500L - also has built-in lighting effects, but is 725 mm and will thereby make the Cassette a bit wider when the logset is fitted
